So, What’s the Solution?

We use Altaro as our 365 backup solution, and with it, we can avoid any data loss. Your organisations Microsoft Office 365 mailboxes, Teams and OneDrive and SharePoint files are all backed up to secure data centres. Altaro is a cloud-based backup solution.

The backup process is simple to automate and once in place, you will be able to easily restore items that might have been accidentally deleted, or misplaced, destroyed or damaged. You can configure the software to back up data to whatever period of time you are comfortable with.

The software is scalable and flexible, so as you grow, we can easily increase the number of users and the amount of storage needed. The cost of the service is dependent on how much storage space you require. We discuss a customer’s data recovery strategy with them before we can provide a price.

If you have any on-premise data, at Amita, we advocate a ‘double’ backup process where we back up on premise as well. This means us having a back up solution that is not connected to your live data, as Altaro is. Should you get a ransomware attack before live data is backed up, any backup will be encrypted. With an on-premise, double backup mechanism in place where we can back up and break the connection with live data, we have a robust and secure solution in place, should a severe cyber attack occur that might otherwise threaten the business.
