One of our IT support clients is based in Crewe. They recently had a requirement to reduce ongoing IT costs and to streamline the complicated solutions for their multi-site organisation which has hundreds of users.
We undertook the task of migrating all email to the cloud, together with maintaining on premise database servers for the financial systems.
We also Integrated a hybrid setup with servers on site and servers hosted in Microsoft Azure, and we also installed all the tools required for the local administration staff to deal with the daily tasks such as password changes and user admin.
Finally, a cost effective “spin up when needed” business continuity solution was implemented to ensure the functions would continue to work, in a most cost effective way, should any disaster or loss of connection manifest itself at the head office.
This project had its challenges as we had to ensure continuity of service 24/7 throughout the process, ensuring that the core operation was always able to provide service to their customers.
